That means that we have the exact same scanner that the dealer has, not just an aftermarket tool that can only perform some functions needed to diagnose and repair your vehicle, but we have all of the same abilities as the dealership.
Some of the factory scan tools we have are
GM/Chevrolet/Buick/Cadillac: Tech 2 for older cars and GDS for newer cars
Ford/Lincoln/Mercury: IDS for new cars and an older version of IDS for old cars.
Lexus/Toyota: Techstream for any car 1996 or newer.
Honda/Acura: GDS for all Honda’s 1996 and Newer.
BMW/Mini: Ista for all cars post 1996
